Museum & Gallery in Sheung Wan

Housed in the former Bacteriological Institute built in 1905, showcasing Hong Kong's medical history and the 1894 plague, and designated a Grade 3 historic building.

Established in 2007, focused on photography exhibitions and publishing about Asia and especially Hong Kong, with limited edition prints and photobooks. A good stop for fans of vintage Hong Kong imagery.

A Sheung Wan gallery focused on Asian contemporary art with a steady exhibition calendar. Open Tuesday to Saturday and free to visit.

A contemporary art gallery on Lok Ku Road in Sheung Wan, open Wednesday to Saturday. It closes between exhibitions, so check dates before visiting.
